In a tightly contested, inner-city rivalry game the Mariners were able to grab the home victory over the Storm in overtime.

Squalicum finished with rebounds and more steals, but were able to convert just eight of its 26 free throw attempts, while Sehome shot 55% from the charity stripe.

The Storm also nearly won the game at end of regulation when freshman Kailana Perez stole the ball and nearly hit a half-court shot at the buzzer.

Robbins

Mariner freshman Taylor Turrell had the magic touch as she hit 7-of-8 from the field and 4-of-5 from the line for a game-high 19 points. Sophomore Kaitlyn Schroeder added 16 points, seven steals and five rebounds.

Squalicum was led by the 11 points and five steals of guard Lexi Robbins, who hit a pair of three-pointers within a two-minute span in the third quarter. Tiana Thompson finished with nine points and five rebounds and Carlie Kiesau added seven points, 10 boards and four steals.
