The Squalicum girls get ready for the announcement of the starting lineup.
  • Sehome 45, Anacortes 38

Senior point guard Madi Cooper racked up 19 points and seven steals to lead the Mariners past the Seahawks in the 2A district playoff game.

Sehome led 34-32 going into the final quarter, and was able to hold Anacortes to just six points in the fourth.

Senior forward Natalie Brewer finished with 13 points and four rebounds, and senior guard Macie Aven added five points.

  • Burlington-Edison 61, Squalicum 31

The Tigers led 33-15 at halftime and continued building to their lead throughout the second half to defeat the Storm in a loser-out contest of the 2A district tournament.

Senior guard Makayla Heaton led Squalicum with 10 points, while also grabbing four rebounds.

Freshman forward Addison Kettman came off the bench to score six points and grab six rebounds.
