  • Lynden 61, Blaine 17

The fast-breaking Lions proved to be too much for the Borderites as Lynden picked up 44 points in the first half alone.

It was a balanced attack by the Lions as seniors Mya VanderYacht and Haylee Koetje each led the way with 10 points a piece.

Senior guard Kalanie Newcomb drained a trio of three-pointers for nine points, and freshman Finley Parcher picked up eight points in the first half alone.

Blaine was led by senior forward Jordyn Vezzetti who finished with a game-high 13 points.

  • Lynden Christian 71, Meridian 30

The fast-paced Lyncs jumped out to a 38-4 lead at halftime before leveling off to victory at home.

Lynden Christian was welcomed by the return of junior guard Grace Hintz who scored 14 points to lead her team.

Sophomore guard Ella Fritts added 11, while senior forward Tabby DeJong and freshman guard Kortnee Tolsma contributed with 10 points each.

The Trojans were led by freshman guard Eden Bernardy who scored 15 points, all of which came in the second half.

  • Anacortes 52, Bellingham 24

The Bayhawks fought hard on the road, but weren’t able to capture the victory.

Sophomore forward Mary Lockhart led Bellingham with nine points, while also grabbing seven rebounds and three steals.

Junior guard Malia Hanks added six points, eight rebounds and four steals, while sophomore forward Lily Jude finished with four points, seven rebounds, three steals and two assists.
