For the second night in a row, the Lyncs lit up the scoreboard for 71 points, this time at home at the hand of the Cougars.
Sophomore guard Ella Fritts led Lynden Christian with 14 points, while junior forward Allison Shumate connected on 6-of-9 shots for 13 points.
Sophomore guard Estela Hernandez buried four of her five 3-point attempts for 12 points and senior forward Tabby DeJong added 11 points and nine rebounds.

Squalicum 51, Oak Harbor 42
In a game full of momentum swings it was the Storm who jumped ahead early, 21-5 after one quarter of play.
The Wildcats took control of the second period and only trailed Squalicum by two points at the half, 24-22.
The Storm were able to score in the paint often in the third quarter, and extended their lead to double digits by the time the fourth quarter began.
The “3 and D” play of senior Makayla Heaton was huge as she knocked down four shots from beyond the arc, and finished with seven steals. She also had a game-high 20 points.
Senior guard Mari Binning wasn’t far behind with 16 points, eight assists, four steals and four rebounds.

Ferndale 57, Mount Vernon 48
24 hours after a grueling win at Sehome, the Golden Eagles used a 20-11 advantage in the third quarter to take the home victory over the Bulldogs.
Senior forward Mallory Butenschoen put up a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while sophomore forward Jillea Fox added eight points and 10 rebounds.
Senior guard Naomi Stanley scored 13 points and continued her hot shooting by making two of her three 3-point attempts, and sophomore guard Kayla Washington filled the stat sheet with eight points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals.

Sedro-Woolley 61, Mount Baker 40
The Cubs held a slim 23-21 lead at the half, but the shots started to fall more frequently for Sedro-Woolley in the second half which enabled them to pick up the road win.
Mount Baker sophomore guard Natalie VanLiew led her team with 13 points, while freshman guard Violet Fox finished with nine points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals, and sophomore forward Samiya Powell drained a pair of three-pointers.
A scary moment took place with 3:50 left in the game when Mountaineer senior forward Jenna Wineinger collapsed to the floor just before a foul shot was to take place. Wineinger suffered a concussion, and is out for at least a week, but she is currently resting and doing OK.
