  • Meridian 32, Bellingham 26

The Bayhawks held a one-point lead after the first quarter, but the Trojan defense stifled Bellingham the rest of the way as Meridian picked up the home victory.

Trojan senior Malia McCauley led her team with 10 points and nine rebounds, and junior point guard Brooklyn Fuller added seven points and four assists for the victors.

Bayhawk junior guard Malia Hanks finished with 16 points, seven rebounds and four steals.

  • Lynden 69, Anacortes 7

Any team coached by Rob Adams will be strong defensively, but the Lions took it to an entirely new level in their road game on Wednesday night.

Lynden held the Seahawks to zero field goals throughout the game, with all seven Anacortes points coming from the foul line.

Freshman guard Finley Parcher scored 23 points, all of which came in the first three quarters. Senior guard Haylee Koetje added nine points and sophomore forward Payton Mills contributed with eight points.
