  • Squalicum 48, Mount Vernon 33

Following the tournament championship last week, the Storm picked up their first conference win of the season on the road against the Bulldogs.

Squalicum was in control the entire game, and led after each quarter.

Senior guard Mari Binning finished with 14 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and three steals to lead the way.

Senior forward Caitlyn Richardson did work in the paint as she connected on 5-of-7 from the floor for 12 points. She also had six rebounds and three steals.

  • Burlington-Edison 52, Meridian 29

The overwhelming pressure of the Tigers was too much for the Trojans on the road as Meridian dropped the conference game on the road.

Junior guard Brooklyn Fuller scored 11 points and also grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Trojans.

Sophomore guard Kinsley Neal also finished with 11 points to go with her four rebounds.
