After a relatively even first quarter, the Lyncs went on a 15-5 run in the second quarter to make it a 29-15 lead at the half.

The Lynden Christian continued to pressure the Storm and came away with the home victory.

Sophomore guard Ella Fritts had the hot-shooting hand for the Lyncs as she drained 8-of-13 shots from the floor and finished with a game-high 19 points, along with five rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Junior guard Grace Hintz scored 11 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and she became the 17th player in LC history to surpass 1,000 career points.

Squalicum was led by senior guard Mari Binning who finished with nine points, five steals, four rebounds and two assists.

The Pioneers held a 22-15 lead after one quarter of play, but jumped farther out ahead in the second quarter and led 41-20 at the half.

Senior guard Devin Coppinger scored 19 of her game-high 25 points in the first half, and she also finished with eight rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Senior forward Tana Hoekema posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, and senior forward Lainey Kimball added 12 points, six steals and five rebounds.
