  • Nooksack Valley 61, Lynden Christian 46

After an evenly played first quarter, the Pioneers erupted for 24 points in the second quarter which allowed them to break out ahead and hold on to win.

Senior guard Devin Coppinger put her team on her back and scored 29 points on 10-of-20 shooting from the floor. She also finished with six rebounds, five assists and two steals.

Senior forward Lainey Kimball added nine points, six rebounds and a team-high six assists for Nooksack Valley.

Sophomore guard Ella Fritts led the Lyncs with nine points and six rebounds, while forwards Tabby DeJong and Allison Shumate scored eight points each.

  • Sehome 74, Lakewood 53

The Mariners led 30-20 at halftime, and they kept that momentum going in the second half to pick up the road conference win.

Senior guard Emmy Hart had a team-high 16 points to go along with her six rebounds, six assists and two steals.

Senior guard Madi Cooper added 14 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals, while senior forward Natalie Brewer finished with 11 points and eight rebounds.

Seniors Kylie Watson and Macie Aven contributed 12 points each.

The Wildcats came back from a 6-point deficit in the fourth quarter to tie the game and send it into overtime where the Golden Eagles came up just two points short on the road.

Senior forward Mallory Butenschoen shot 5-of-11 from the floor and 7-of-9 from the foul line to lead Ferndale with 19 points.

Sophomore guard Kayla Washington knocked down a trio of three-pointers and finished with 15 points, six steals and five assists, and sophomore forward Jillea Fox had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
