Lynden Christian’s Madeleine Engels shot an 86 to finish in third place in the bi-district tournament at North Bellingham, and she will be moving on to the state tournament. Meridian’s Jovi Jensen’s 101 was good enough to tie for 13th, and once again it came down to another playoff which she won to capture the final state berth.

Lynden’s Kinsley Rector kept her amazing season alive by taking first place in the district tournament at Lake Padden. She finished six strokes ahead of the next golfer. Also moving on to the state tournament are Cassie Hogan from Sehome and Lucy Jones from Lynden.

Whatcom County’s lone golfer from 3A moving on to the state tournament is freshman Emily O’Tool.
