The Mariners completed their second shutout of the district tournament after receiving goals from sophomore forwards Vivian Moss and Alexis Maldonado.

 

  • Lynden 2, Archbishop Murphy 0

Senior Evelyn Saldivar scored her 28th and 29th goals of the season to lead the Lions past the Wildcats in the semifinal round of the district tournament.

 

  • Bellingham 5, Anacortes 4

In a wild consolation game, the Bayhawks did everything they could to keep their season alive.

Down 4-3, in continuation time of the second half, Bellingham senior Ella Morrow scored the game-tying goal, her second of the game, to save her team from elimination. After two brief overtime periods, the contest went to a shootout, and when senior Sloan Mahn kicked the ball into the goal, the Bayhawks celebrated at midfield.

Bellingham also received goals from seniors Ivy Newell and Gracie Gouran.

 

  • Squalicum 4, Marysville-Pilchuck 0

The Storm staved off elimination due to a hat trick by sophomore Arya Sabado, who scored the first three goals of the game. Sophomore Madeline Potts also scored.

 

  • Nooksack Valley 2, Meridian 1

Trojan senior Katie Nolton and Pioneer sophomore Peyton Duque each scored in regulation, which forced overtime. Neither team scored in the first overtime, but a laser off the foot of freshman Khloe Mora from over 20 yards out in the second overtime period sealed the win for Nooksack Valley.

 

  • Lynden Christian 1, Blaine 0

The Lyncs took home the 1A district championship after defeating the Borderites in a shootout.

After a scoreless regulation, and no goals in the overtime periods as well, Lynden Christian made its first three shots in the shootout, and Blaine missed its first three.
