The Lions concluded the regular season without a loss as they defeated the Wildcats behind two goals from senior Evelyn Saldivar, which gives her a Whatcom County leading 22 on the season.

 

  • Ferndale 3, Lakewood 0

The Golden Eagles went on the road and won their second game of the week. Freshman midfielder Liv Luna scored a pair of goals, and Ferndale also received a goal from junior Hannah Waslohn.

 

  • Bellingham 6, Blaine 0

The Bayhawks closed out the regular season in a strong way, as they picked up the shutout win on the road.

Sophomore Stella Eltrich scored a pair of goals to lead Bellingham. Goals were also scored by seniors Ella Morrow, Ivy Newell and Zoe Burke, as well as junior Beckett Ferry.

  • Squalicum 1, Sehome 1

In a physical battle to end the regular season, the two city rivals ended in a tie.

The Mariner goal came from sophomore Kylie Ivcevic, which was assisted by senior Triya Mitchell. The Storm goal game from junior Ava Simons.

 

  • Burlington-Edison 2, Lynden Christian 1

Junior Kayla Yun scored for the Lyncs, but the Tigers scored twice in the final eight minutes of the game to come away with the victory.

Lynden Christian will still go into the 1A district tournament as the top seed.

 

  • Anacortes 4, Meridian 1

Sophomore forward Makayla Tolsma scored an early second half goal to tie the game at 1-1, but the Seahawks closed out strong at home to pick up the win.

 

  • Sedro-Woolley 5, Nooksack Valley 0

Playing their third game of the week, the Pioneers weren’t able to overcome the Cubs at home.

 

  • Mount Vernon 8, Mount Baker 0

After picking up their first victory of the season on Tuesday, the Mountaineers fell to the Bulldogs at home.
