The Lions remained undefeated on the season by shutting out the Borderites on the road.

Freshman forward Wren Dickson scored a pair of goals to lead Lynden, which also received goals from junior Blaine Holman and seniors Evelyn Saldivar and Faith VanBrocklin.

The Lyncs secured the victory, and by doing so it gave LC a win over each 1A team in the conference.

Junior Kayla Yun scored two goals to lead the way, and the third goal came in the final minutes when Nayla Speer’s corner kick deflected off a Trojan and into the net.

Meridian’s goal came from freshman Avery Francis, which was assisted by senior Brooklyn Fuller.

  • Sehome 1, Sedro-Woolley 0

Mariner sophomore Vivian Moss scored the lone goal of the game on an assist from sophomore Kyle Ivcevic, and that proved to be enough for Sehome at home.

The Mariners had numerous attempts after the goal, and hit the post three times, but still able to secure the win. Junior Ella Perry was inserted into a new position, and her defensive impact helped seal the victory.

  • Squalicum 8, Mount Baker 0

The Storm looked strong at home, and came away with the clean sheet against the Mountaineers.

Freshman Siri Hoglin finished with her first varsity hat trick, and freshman Kailana Perez came out of the goaltender box to score a pair of goals.

Squalicum also received goals from senior Hannah Bates, and juniors Kiarra Voigt and Ava Simons.

  • Anacortes 4, Bellingham 3

The Seahawks scored the first three goals of the game before senior Ella Morrow was able to break through with a goal for the Bayhawks at the end of the first half.

Morrow also started out the scoring in the second half with a goal that brought Bellingham within one, but Anacortes countered with another goal to give the Seahawks a little bit of a cushion.

In the final two minutes a free kick was headed in by senior Sloan Mahn for the Bayhawks to bring the score to 4-3, but the time eventually ran out.
