The Lions looked dominant in their first game of the season, and controlled the ball for vast majority of the game.

Evelyn Saldivar led the way with two goals and two assists. Lynden also got goals from Jayda Villars, Meg Clark, Faith VanBrocklin and Morgyn Heutink.

Great team play paved the way towards the Mariner victory as Kaila Reeves had a pair of assists in the victory.

Kylie Ivcevic scored the first goal of the game, and that was followed up by a free kick from Amaia Reid that hit a Trojan player and went into the net.

Reid then perfectly placed a corner kick which was headed in by Madison Goodman. Reeves assisted on the final two goals, one by Vivian Moss and the other by Keira Reeves.

All five Bayhawk goals came from different players, as Bellingham posted its second straight clean sheet behind the efforts of Uma Bachmeier and Ellen White.

Freshman Siri Hoglin scored the lone goal for the Storm on a left-footed shot that clipped the cross bar and came down into the goal.

The Wildcats got off to an extremely fast start by scoring three goals in the first 10 minutes, and they found themselves leading 6-0 at the half.

The Borderites equalized more of the game in the second half and received goals from Kate Koreski, Kaitlyn Ritter Von Trautmann and Larissa Pluschakov.

The two teams played to a scoreless tie for 74 minutes, but a header off an indirect kick after a foul call ended up being the lone score for the Cubs.

The Mountaineers opened their season with a loss at home to the Seahawks, and their lone goal came from Faith Wilson-Bowman.
