The Bayhawks reached the quarterfinals of the state tournament by defeating the Greyhounds at Civic Stadium.
Bellingham received goals from seniors Kira Carlson, Ella Morrow and Ivy Newell as they move one step closer to accomplishing their dream. The Bayhawks will host Bainbridge at Civic Stadium on Saturday at 1:00 for a chance to get into the final four.

Ellensburg 2, Sehome 1
The Mariners were eliminated in the first round of the state tournament after suffering a loss to the Bulldogs in a shootout.
Ellensburg scored the first goal of the game late in the first half, and Sehome answered back with a goal about seven and a half minutes into the second half on a header from junior Keira Reeves off a corner kick.
The score remained 1-1 throughout regulation and overtime, and the Mariners came up just short in the shootout that followed.
