Lockwood

The Mariners picked up their 12th win of the season by defeating the Golden Eagles 25-22, 25-16 and 25-21 at home.

Senior Leah Lockwood was on her game all night at the net as she collected 10 kills as well as 4.5 blocks, while junior Hayden Niewiadomski added 12 kills, five digs and three aces.

Larrabee

Senior Emmy Lee, who got the final point of the night, finished with 29 assists and nine digs, and junior Bridgette Adams racked up seven kills and nine digs.

Ferndale was led by junior Katrina Ferry who finished with a game-high 17 digs, and sophomore Brooklyn Larrabee who posted 21 assists, nine digs, four kills and 1.5 blocks.

Senior Amelie McKeon also showed that she’s close to 100% from her shoulder injury and finished with four kills and two blocks.

 

SQUALICUM 3, OAK HARBOR 1

Paz

After dropping the first set at home 25-20, the Storm rallied back to take the next three sets 25-17, 25-17 and 25-9.

Jumpin’ junior Jolie Paz had a double-double with 13 kills and 15 digs, to go along with her three aces to lead Squalicum, and junior Archer Burns added seven kills and a team-high six aces.

Sophomore libero Bronwyn Jones dug out 18, while senior Jazzy Bersola and sophomore Alyssa Roselli each finished with 14 assists.

 

MERIDIAN 3, BELLINGHAM 0

R. Bernardy

The Trojans took care of business on their home court by defeating the Bayhawks 25-12, 25-19 and 25-16.

Senior Rylan Bernardy served up four aces and had 13 digs, both of which led her team, while sophomore Eden Bernardy wasn’t far behind with three aces and 11 digs, while also posting 10 kills.

Knutsen

Freshman Melanie Short added a team-high 11 kills to lead the offensive attack, and senior Grace Wells dished out 28 assists.

Bellingham was led by freshman Sonoma Smith who had five kills, five aces and two digs. Junior Jayda Knutsen added four kills and four digs, and junior Olivia Siemanwoski finished with three kills and two blocks.

 

MOUNT VERNON 3, BLAINE 1

Weeda

The Borderites traveled 48 miles south on the interstate, and took the first set 25-20. The Bulldogs won a close second set, 25-23, and went on to defeat Blaine 25-16 and 25-19 to close out the match.

Senior Kaitlyn Harrington was an offensive force once again for the Borderites as she finished with 18 kills, and she was aided by senior setter Brie Smith who ended with 31 assists.

Sophomore Teia Dube led her team with 21 digs, while also posting nine kills, and sophomore Livia Weeda led her team with three aces.

 

BURLINGTON-EDISON 3, NOOKSACK VALLEY 0

DeHoog

It was easy to see on Monday night that the Tigers are the most dominant team in the Northwest Conference. Burlington-Edison swept the Pioneers 25-15, 25-7 and 25-13 at home.

The Tiger defense limited Nooksack Valley’s powerful offensive attacks, and held the Pioneers to 15 total kills. Sophomore Grace DeHoog and junior Gracie Rutgers each had four of them.

Junior setter Payton Bartl dished out 13 assists, and DeHoog led her team with seven digs, while sophomore Elizabeth DeLange finished with three aces.
