BLAINE 3, BELLINGHAM 2

Harrington

All season, the Borderites have played extremely well in the first set, usually picking up a win, but it was always hard to match the intensity moving forward. On senior night, Blaine was able to play all the way through and complete the victory.

The Borderites won the first set 25-15, and the Bayhawks came back to win the second set 25-23. Blaine won the third 25-22, and Bellingham tied it up in the fourth by winning 25-17 before the Borderites finished the job by winning 15-12.

Blaine senior Kaitlyn Harrington led the way with 16 kills, 21 digs and nine aces in the final home game of her career. Sophomore outside hitter Teia Dube balanced her powerful attacks with some graceful tips to total 12 kills, while also picking up 14 digs.

Munro

Senior Brie Smith finished with 34 assists and 13 digs, while senior Olivia Price had six kills and three blocks and junior Hannah Phelps-McDonald had 15 digs.

Bellingham junior Mary Lockhart led her team in many ways as she totaled seven kills, five blocks and four aces. Junior Jayda Knutsen had seven kills and seven digs, and junior Olivia Siemanowski finished with seven kills and four blocks.

Senior Ophelia Van Leeuwen and sophomore Bailey Burge had 12 digs each, and sophomore Lulu Munro finished with a career-high 20 assists.
