Less than 24 hours after playing a grueling five-set match at Squalicum, the Borderites came home to defeat the Vikings in three straight sets, 27-25, 25-14 and 25-19.
6-foot-1 senior Kaitlyn Harrington flew through the air to amass 16 kills to go along with her nine digs and two aces. Junior Carly Saunders and sophomore Teia Dube posted eight kills each.
Senior Brie Smith racked up 31 assists and Dube had a team-high 13 digs.

The Lions got a little bit of the scare from the Pioneers, but ultimately came together to pick up the victory in three straight sets, 25-22, 25-21 and 25-18.
Sophomore Finley Parcher had a huge night with 18 kills and a .351 hitting percentage to lead the offensive attack, as freshman Izzie Stephan dished out 27 assists.
Parcher and senior Kamryn Hermanutz each had three aces to lead the team, as well as double-digit digs (13 for Parcher, and 12 for Hermanutz).
Junior Rian Stephan added nine kills and 11 digs, while junior defensive specialist Reese Nyhoff gave the Lions a lift with big runs when she came in, and a total of 24 points with just one service error.
Nooksack Valley was led by junior Payton Bartl who finished with 20 assists, three aces and five digs. Junior Grace DeHoog had 10 kills, and junior Annie Stremler had a team-high nine digs.
