The Trojans totaled nine base hits, but couldn’t put together a big enough inning to stay in the game as the Bulldogs led 6-0 after thee innings and grabbed the non-conference win at home. Sophomore leadoff hitter Trey Alexander went 3-for-3 with a walk, and also went the distance on the mound and gave up just three earned runs. Gabe Galbraith picked up a pair of hits, while Landon Rowley and Jaymasen Alexander each had a run batted in for Meridian.
