The Trojans scored twice in the first inning, and twice more in the bottom of the sixth to grab their first conference victory of the season. Sophomore Nate Payne drive in two runs to lead Meridian, while senior pitcher Jaeger Fyfe struck out five batters while picking up the complete game victory. Borderite sophomore Josh Cochran also went the distance, and struck out seven batters.
