The Borderites scored three runs over the first two innings, and did it with just one base hit, but the Turks were able to tie the game, and eventually take the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning. Brady Dohner had a single and run batted in for Blaine, while runs were scored by George Streeter, Josh Cochran and Dohner. Aaron Garza took the loss in relief but struck out six batters in two and 2/3 innings pitched.
