Nooksack Valley's Cole Bauman struck on nine batters in four innings without giving up a single hit against Mariner.

After a three-up and three-down top of the inning to lead off the game, the Pioneers then went on the hit parade and scored all 17 of their runs in the bottom of the first inning. From there, senior pitcher Cole Bauman cruised as he struck out nine batters over four innings, while he and Ethan Lind combined for the no-hitter. Colby Martin, Landen Stauffer, Connor Hopkins and Evan Brown each had two hits. Martin, Stauffer and Hopkins each had a double and a single, while Brown had a triple and a single. Hopkins also drove in three runs.

The Bayhawk bats really came alive for the first time this season as they scored three runs in the first inning, and they batted around in the bottom of third and scored nine more runs. Bellingham got a pair of hits from Kai Nelson, Joe Harward and Eli Goodbuffalo, who also knocked in three runs. Sophomore pitcher Ben Leonard gave up just two hits and struck out nine in the complete game victory.
