With multiple rainouts, and prior games getting cancelled, the Borderites were eager to get their season under way and it showed on the road as they scored five runs in the first inning and kept plowing ahead to pick up the win. Ashton Vezzetti picked up his first varsity win as he went three innings and struck out six batters while allowing just one hit. Catcher Evan Yates led the offensive attack with three hits, while Vezzetti and Connor Brown each had three runs batted in. Aaron Garza and Brady Dohner each had a pair of hits and three runs scored.

After a scoreless first inning, the Mountaineers got on top in the second when Dean Allred smacked a double which scored Caden Mosher. The Lyncs answered in a big way the following inning by scoring six runs which was highlighted by a 2-run single off the bat of Trey Johnson. Lynden Christian went on to score five more runs over the next two innings. Jaxon Huleatt walked twice and scored three runs, and he also picked up the win on the mound as he struck out eight batters in the complete game victory. First baseman Eli Stamps collected a pair of hits, and shortstop Eli Maberry tripled and drove in three runs.

The Canadian Cardinals were relentless as they scored in nearly every inning and pounding out 14 hits. Abbotsford was up 6-0 when in the third inning when the Trojan offense came alive. Shortstop Pierce Brzozowski singled home Gabe Galbraith, and two batters later Tristan Wang singled up the middle to score Trey Alexander and Jaeger Fyfe. Fyfe took the loss on the mound, the first in his varsity career after starting 8-0.
