Matthew Carroll struck out 12 batters and only allowed one hit on his way to collecting the shutout win. He also led the Lions’ bats off with a double before being knocked home by Spencer Adams for the game’s first run. Jaydin Oaks drove a run home in the second and Dawson VanDalen scored on a passed ball in the fourth and on an error in the sixth.

Junior catcher Treyson Johnson and Sam Kok each smacked two doubles to lead the Lync offense against the Golden Eagles. Eli Maberry also had a pair of hits, while all three each had a run batted in. Maberry struck out eight batters in five and 2/3 innings to get the win, and Jaxon Huleatt picked up his first save of the season as Lynden Christian won its sixth game in a row. Ferndale was led by Joe Bense who went 3-for-4 with a run scored and a run batted in.

The Trojans came back from a 5-1 deficit and scored seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take the victory at home. After two outs were recorded, a hit by a pitch, an error and a walk took place, the Meridian comeback was on. Down by one run, Trevyn Crabtree doubled in three runs to give the Trojans the lead. He then scored when the next batter reached with an error. Mariner catcher Jackson Evans singled in the seventh, but never got past first base. Sophomore Landon Rowley picked up the win in relief, and senior Ryder McGrath struck out six batters but took the loss.

Junior pitcher Alden Scott twirled a gem on the mound as he struck out 13 batters and gave up just one hit to pick up his first win of the season. Oddly enough, he faced Evan Brown who put up those exact numbers in his start last week. Brown was not as successful in this case as the Bayhawk bats remained hot from Saturday’s win. Bellingham was powered by junior first baseman Eli Goodbuffalo who drove in three runs. He, along with Kai Nelson and Paxon Fisher, each had a pair of hits.

The Storm got base hits from Cameron Schmitt, Jayson Morrison, Tanner Berg and Joey Harbick, but just wasn’t able to push anyone across for a run on the road against the Cubs. Schmitt struck out four batters over three innings, but took the loss for Squalicum.
