With the game tied 1-1 in the bottom of the sixth, the Storm led off the inning with a walk, a hit batter, and they reached on an error to load the bases with nobody out. Max Wright then singled to left field which drove in two runs. Tanner Berg then hit into a fielder’s choice which scored another run, and a balk scored the fourth run of the inning for the Storm. The game came to a close when the Golden Eagles were limited to just one run in the top of the seventh. Ferndale was led offensively by Fenton Vasak who homered and tripled, and Braylon O’Breen who went 3-for-4 with a triple and a run batted in.

Cody Salhus then drew a walk, which scored Tracen Pazaski, and that was followed up by a line drive single to right field off the bat of Brayden Ebbesen which scored Joe Bense and Brown, and gave Ferndale the lead. He had only walked five batters this entire season leading into the game, but he did everything he could offensively to help his team as he went 2-for-2 with two doubles, two runs batted in, two walks and two stolen bases. C.R. Griffith also drove in two runs for Bellingham.
