It may have been the most off-shooting night for the Blackhawks so far this season, who made just four of their 23 attempts from beyond the three-point arc, but it didn’t matter as they dominated the first three quarters of play to pick up the win in the semifinals of the 1B Tri-District Tournament.
The overall effort by junior point guard Jerome Toby led the way as he finished with 18 points, six assists, six steals and six rebounds.
Sophomore center Deandre James battled in the paint to pick up 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting, as well as six rebounds, and sophomore guard Dyson Edwards added 12 points.
Lummi Nation will now face Neah Bay for the Tri-District Championship at 6:45 on Saturday at the Muckleshoot Community Center.
