The Lion defense shined early as they raced to an 11-0 lead to start the game. The Bayhawks found their rhythm as the quarter finished out, however, Lynden remained out in front 22-13.
A 9-2 run by the Lions to end the first half pushed them out in front by 20 points.
Two more runs in the third and fourth quarter helped Lynden pull even further ahead and pick up the home win.
Senior forward Brant Heppner shot 10-for-15 from the field, which included 6-of-8 from three-point range, and he finished with 28 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals.
Junior guard Spencer Adams also had a hot hand as he ended up with 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting.
Bellingham senior guard Fabian Singh came off the bench to lead his team with 11 points, while hitting three of his five attempts from downtown.

The Storm were down 21-19 at the half, and then ripped off 43 points in the second half as Squalicum defended its home court against the Mountaineers.
Sophomore guard Hunter Calloway enjoyed the best game of his young varsity career as he shot 15-of-21 from the field for 32 points.
Senior guard Marcus Nixon finished with 11 points, seven assists and five rebounds, and senior forward Jaxon Hofer added eight points.
Mount Baker was led by junior guard Carter Hill who scored 18 points.
Senior forward Darius Gilstrap had 14 points and five rebounds, and sophomore center Kell Reardon finished with 11 points, six rebounds and three blocked shots.

The Blackhawks shot over 50% from the field, and they made 50% of their three-point shots which led them to the home win.
Junior guard Jerome Toby finished with 24 points, 10 assists, five rebounds and three steals to lead Lummi Nation to the conference victory.
Sophomore center Deandre James also had a double-double as he finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds on 8-of-12 shooting.
Sophomore guard Landon LaFontaine connected on five of his seven shots from downtown as he finished with 15 points, and sophomore guard Dyson Edwards added 14 points, five assists and four boards.

Junior forward Mantaj Singh also notched double-digit scoring with 10 points.
Senior forward Tommy Mack came off the bench to add five points in the fourth quarter.
