Lyncs senior Gannon Dykstra equaled the scoring output of the Mountaineers by putting up 40 points in road win on Tuesday night.

The 6-foot-1 guard was 16-of-23 from the field, which included hitting eight of 11 three-point attempts. He also had five rebounds, four steals and three assists.

Forwards Luke VanKooten and Kaden Veldman scored 11 points each, with Veldman also totaling 10 rebounds and four blocked shots.

Mount Baker was led by senior forward Luke Smith who finished with 14 points and seven rebounds on 6-of-9 shooting.

The Borderites were outscored 21-7 in both the first and third quarters at home, which ultimately led to the conference defeat.

Senior guard Josiah Weeda led Blaine with 10 points, and senior forward Abdul Kanagie returned to the lineup to score six points and grab five rebounds.

Junior point guard Kai Kerwin led his team with three assists and two steals.
