The Blackhawks were back to their winning ways at home on Saturday afternoon after they jumped out to an 18-4 first quarter lead against the Vikings and never looked back.

Lummi Nation got a boost from senior guard Rayshawn Bob in the third quarter when he scored all of his season-high nine points in the period.

Sophomore center Deandre James used tremendous footwork in the paint as he led the Blackhawks with 17 points.

Sophomore guard Dyson Edwards finished with 11 points, and junior Jerome Toby added 10 points.

Just a few days after big brother Gannon Dykstra went off for 40 points, while hitting eight 3-pointers in the process, sophomore guard Gunnar Dykstra geared up his left arm and nailed nine of his 11 three-point attempts for a career-high 27 points in the road win.

Gannon still had a pretty big night with 18 points, five assists, four rebounds and four steals.

Sophomore forward Kaden Veldman posted his ninth double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds, while raising his already incredibly high shooting percentage to 69.7% on the season.

The Lyncs shot 50% on the evening.

The Storm were led sophomore guard Blake Elston who finished with 14 points, and sophomore forward Orion Granberg-Kiddle who scored 10 points.

Squalicum was without senior guard Marcus Nixon.

A strong second quarter by the Seahawks allowed them to separate themselves from the Mountaineers who dropped the conference game on the road.

Mount Baker sophomore center Kell Reardon posted a double-double with 12 points and a season-high 15 rebounds, while also blocking two shots.

The Mountaineers were also led by junior guard Carter Hill who buried three 3-pointers and finished with 10 points and four assists.

Senior forward Chris Armbright came off the bench and knocked his first three attempts from downtown as he totaled nine points.
