The first 50 minutes were extremely close as the Cougars struck first with a goal a little more than halfway through the first half, and the Lyncs answered early in the second half when Oak Howell scored on a corner kick from younger brother Harvest Howell. Cascade Christian took the lead four minutes later on a tap in goal after the ball had deflected off the keeper and a defenseman, and the final three goals from the Cougars were scored in the final minutes against the Lynden Christian reserves.

Cedar Park Christian scored once again before halftime, and opened the second half by scoring twice more. Yuryev scored in the second half on an assist from Isaiah Zuch.
