The Bayhawks kicked off the season in winning fashion at home on Wednesday night by defeating the Chargers. Senior Avi Brennan scored the first goal of the game in the first half, and senior Carson Brethauer scored during the extra-time segment of the first half, and Bellingham was up 2-0 at the midway break. Freshman Nathaniel Wilson scored the final Bayhawk goal of the game in the second half. Marysville-Getchell scored its lone goal in the second half.
