Nooksack Valley's Shelby Mason had a big day in the Pioneer double header.

The game was tied 4-4 after three innings, and remained that way until the bottom of the sixth when the Coyotes scored twice to take a 6-4 lead. Grace DeHoog hit a sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to score Maleah Loreen from third base, but that would be the end of the scoring for the Pioneers. Kenzie Likkel and Alyxis Larson each had a pair of hits to lead the Nooksack Valley offense.

The Pioneers jumped out to a 7-0 lead and continued to score runs throughout the rest of the game. Shortstop Shelby Mason went 4-for-5 and drove in four runs to power the offense. Kenzie Likkel scored three runs and Nooksack Valley also got a pair of hits from Kestyn Wagter, Kennedy Burke and Alayna Vanieperen.
