It was all Lions at home as Campbell DeJong hit two doubles and drove in three runs to lead the offense, while Callie Ramerman and Melanie Anderson combined to strike out 14 hitters. The Bayhawks got hits from Cassie Berwik, Olivia Favro and Emma Johnson. Berwik also stole a base for Bellingham.

The Pioneers held on to a slim 5-4 advantage after five innings of play, but tacked on three more in the top of the sixth to help secure the win. Kestyn Wagter went 3-for-4 and scored twice while Shelby Mason drove in four runs. Nooksack Valley also got a pair of hits from lefties Alayna Dykstra and Payton Bartl. Bartl also picked up her fifth win of the season, and freshman Alayna Vanieperen pitched the final three innings and struck out five batters to get her fourth save of the season.

The Eagles scored the first six runs of the game over the first four innings, and the Mountaineers were forced to play catchup the rest of the contest. Daktoa Jimmie doubled and singled to lead the Mount Baker offense. Full statistics are still being tracked down for this game.

Rochester 16, Meridian 3

It was all offense by the Warriors early on as they took a 14-2 lead after three innings of play. The Trojans got a pair of hits from Chloe Heinrich and Sydney TenKley. Freshman pitcher Addy TenKley pitched in relief and struck out three batters for Meridian.

Oak Harbor 7, Ferndale 1

A single by Amaya Chervenock scored Heavens Jefferson from second base in the bottom of the sixth, but that would be the only run for the Golden Eagles. Kaelin Blakley and Ari Gilday each had two hits for Ferndale to lead the offense, and Hannah Swan also singled and stole a base.

Sedro-Woolley 18, Blaine 3

The Borderites got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the fifth when Mesa Puls hit a three-run homerun, but Blaine couldn’t overcome six errors that were committed earlier in the contest. Blaine got a pair of hits from Puls, as well as freshman leadoff hitter Courtney Roff.

Lakewood 11, Sehome 1

Mariner leadoff hitter Radler Rosellison went 2-for-2 and scored a run, but that would be the only offense that Sehome was able to provide on Saturday at home. Sarah Kruzich went the distance in the circle and struck out seven batters.

Anacortes 21, Squalicum 1

The Storm scored the first run of the game when Addy Hauber singled up the middle, advanced to second on a throw, stole third and then scored on a wild pitch. The Seahawks went on to score the next 21 runs to take the win. Squalicum also got hits from Carmen Rodriguez and Stella Conn.

Mount Baker 11, Elma 10

The Mountaineers withstood a strong comeback from the Eagles in the bottom of the seventh to grab the win. Elma scored five runs in the final inning, and had the tying run on second base when the final out was recorded. Mount Baker started out hot and scored the first 10 runs of the game, with the majority of them coming from senior catcher Gracie Zender who hit two homeruns, a double, walked twice, scored three runs and drove in seven runs. The Mounties also got two hits each from Kara Welters and Kennedy Rathjen while Alyssa DeRoco, Dakota Kimmie and Jaydn Hoffman each scored two runs. Welters also became the first pitcher this season to reach eight victories.

Nooksack Valley 17, Tenino 7

The Pioneers finished their long week with a fourth win, and they did it by pounding out 23 hits. Alayna Dykstra hit two homeruns and a single while Kestyn Wagter, Shelby Mason and Grace DeHoog also had three hits each. DeHoog drove in four runs, and Alayna Vanieperen struck out three batters in her one inning of relief.

The defending state champion Knights looked every bit of it again as they took it to the Trojans. Meridian got hits from Makayla Tolsma, Natalie Schultz and Lorelai Margeson.
