The lead changed hands four times over the first three innings, and the Mountaineers tied the game at 5-5 in the top of the fifth when Kara Welters scored on a wild pitch. However, the Wildcats were able to push across three runs in the bottom of the sixth, and Mount Baker didn’t have an answer in the final inning. Senior catcher Gracie Zender was 3-for-4 with a homerun and two runs batted in, and senior shortstop Annalee Cohn was 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
