The Mountaineers led 2-0 after three innings of play, but the Lyncs rallied for four runs in the bottom of the fourth, and added three extremely tack-on runs over the next two innings. Mount Baker put up three runs in the top of the final inning, but couldn’t complete the comeback. Taya Vander Kooi and Kassidy VanSoest each had three hits for Lynden Christian, and Roxanne Lenning entered the game at pitcher halfway through the second inning and went the rest of the way to get the win. She also struck out eight batters over that time. The Mountaineers got a pair of hits from Kara Welters, Zaida Haynes and Alyssa DeRoco. Gracie Zender also homered in the top of the seventh inning during the attempted comeback.

The Pioneers racked up 14 hits and held on for the win on the road against the Borderites. Junior Grace DeHoog led with three hits, and Kestyn Wagter drove in two runs. Nooksack Valley also got two doubles off the bat of senior catcher Alayna Dykstra. Pitchers Payton Bartl and Alayna VanIeperen combined to strike out 11 batters. Blaine senior Shaylie Daniels went 4-for-4 at the plate, while Courtney Roff and Mesa Puls each had a pair of hits.

It was all Golden Eagles, as they scored multiple runs in each inning on their way to the road win. Leadoff hitter Maddy Slevin was 4-for-4 with three runs batted in and three runs scored to lead the Ferndale offense. Hadley Pike also hit two doubles and Kaelin Blakley hit a homerun. Celisse Castleberry and Pike each had three hits, and Amaya Chervenock picked up the win in the circle after going over three innings and striking out three batters. The Bayhawks got hits from Cassie Berwik and Oliva Favro.

The Lions struggled against one of the top pitchers in the state, although the game was scoreless through the first three innings. The Cubs scored twice in the bottom of the fourth, and added more more in the following inning. Sarah McVie singled and stole a base for Lynden.

Burlington-Edison 24, Meridian 3

The Tigers did most of their damage over the first three innings, and downed the Trojans on the road. Leadoff hitter Chloe Heinrich led Meridian with a single, a double and two runs batted in.

Oak Harbor 22, Sehome 1

Four errors were committed by the Mariners, but there was little they could do offensively against the Wildcats. Sarah Kruzich had a pair of hits, and Lexi Monroe added another and stole a base, but Sehome was kept down for the majority of the game on the road.

Mount Vernon 26, Squalicum 3

The Storm scored three runs in the bottom of the third, but that would be the only offensive output that they would be able to put together at home. Keisha McCloud drove in two runs, and Addy Hauber drove in the other.
