The Lion offense remained consistent throughout the game, and scored at multiple runs in each inning before it came to a close after five innings. Callie Ramerman went the distance in the circle and didn’t allow a hit, and she struck out six batters. Melanie Anderson, Campbell DeJong and Emily McVie had three hits each, while Anderson and McVie also each doubled and tripled. DeJong also drove in three runs while Anderson and McVie each scored three runs.

After two scoreless innings the Pioneers erupted for five runs in the top of the third, and kept adding on in each inning after that to grab the road win. Nooksack Valley left fielder Gracie Rutgers proved to be a tough out as she went 3-for-3 with two runs batted in and two runs scored to lead the offense. Kestyn Wagter also drove in three runs. Payton Bartl and Alayna Vaniepren combined to allow just three hits in the shutout win. Amaya Chervenock tripled for the Golden Eagles.

The Lyncs rattled off 12 runs in the top of the second inning before nabbing the road win. Taya Vander Kooi, Roxanne Lenning and Kassidy VanSoest each homered for Lynden Christian to power the offense, while Vander Kooi drove in four runs and Alivia Brink also added three hits. Lenning pitched all five innings and allowed just one hits while striking out eight. Syndey TenKley singled and stole a base for the Trojans.

Annalee Cohn and Kara Welters each tripled in the second inning as the Mountaineers jumped out to a 13-0 lead. Cohn also drove in four runs, and Maddy Junquist finished with three runs batted in. Zaida Haynes scored four runs, while Welters struck out four batters in two innings of work and Kennedy Rathjen struck out five batters over the final three innings in the circle. Keeley Meling doubled and ended up stealing home in the top of the fourth inning to score a run for the Storm.

The defending state champion Cubs continued their dominance this season by shutting the Mariners out. Sehome junior Sarah Kruzich singled, while Madeline Hutchinson walked and Jordan Walker was hit by a pitch. Kruzich also struck out a pair of batters.
