Senior Kassidy VanSoest struck out eight batters in the shortened shutout victory at home, and Taylor Craig went 3-for-3 with four runs batted in to lead the Lyncs past the Borderites at home. Roxanne Lenning had two hits, including a double and Hannah Terpstra tripled. Brooke VanLoo and Alivia Brink each had two runs batted in. Mesa Puls singled for Blaine.

The Lions scored six runs in the first inning, and ended even faster with eight runs in the sixth inning to put away the Pioneers on the road. Lynden senior shortstop Melanie Anderson went 4-for-5 with two triples and five runs batted in to power the Lion offense. Kaiah Tull, Rebecca Powell and Kasey DeJong each scored three runs, and Callie Ramerman struck out 12 batters in the complete game victory. Senior catcher Alayna Dykstra powered the Nooksack Valley offense with a double, a triple and a homerun. She also scored three runs and drove in three runs. The Pioneers also got a pair of hits from Shelby Mason, Kenzie Likkel and Raegan Burke.

The Mountaineers exploded for 11 runs in the first inning, which was highlighted by a pair of 3-run homeruns from seniors Alyssa DeRoco and Gracie Zender. Senior shortstop Annalee Cohn finished with four hits, and Cadence Cloninger had three hits in her first game back in the batter’s box after recovering from an injury. Kara Welters struck out five batters and picked up the win, while Maddy Jungquist pitched a scoreless three innings to close the game out.

Mariner leadoff hitter Jordan Walker drove in five runs to lead Sehome past the Bayhawks. Catcher Greta Watson drove in four runs, while Jacinta Lewis and Rebekah Peterson each scored four runs. Lewis and Walker also each hit a triple for the Mariners. Sarah Kruzich struck out seven batters in her three innings of work in the circle. Bellingham’s Sammy Stormo went 2-for-3 with two runs batted in, two runs scored and a homerun, Olivia Favro hit a double and Cassie Berwik walked twice and stole four bases.

The Cubs scored 12 runs before the Golden Eagles were able to get on the scoreboard, and Sedro-Woolley went on to put up 12 more runs in the top of the fourth. Ferndale got a pair of hits each from Kaelin Blakley and Hannah Swan. Maddy Slevin also doubled for the Golden Eagles.

It was all Tigers as the Storm fell on the road. Squalicum scored in the top of the third inning when Laela Staniford tripled to right field which brought in Gabi Gearhart. Both Staniford and Gearhart had two hits each.
