The Lyncs broke out and got their first win of the season by shutting out the Tigers at home. After a scoreless first inning, Lynden Christian went on to score multiple runs over the next four innings to grab the win. Brook VanLoo led the offense with a double and a triple, and she also scored two runs. The Lyncs also got a pair of singles from Kortnee Tolsma and two doubles from Roxanne Lenning. Lenning also picked up the win in the circle after going four innings where she struck out seven and allowed just one hit.

Lynden 5, Oak Harbor 3

The Lions got off to a hot start by scoring three runs in the top of the first inning, then went on to score some insurance runs later in the game to grab the road win. Sophomore Callie Ramerman tripled, and also struck out 12 batters in the complete game victory. Melanie Anderson and Emily McVie each had a run batted in for Lynden, and Campbell DeJong stole a pair of bases.

Sehome 21, Squalicum 3

The Storm led 1-0 after two innings, but the Mariner offense came alive in the third inning when they scored eight runs, and they followed that up with a 10-run fourth inning. Sehome got three runs batted in from Jordan Walker, Rebekah Peterson and Lea Lamositele. Walker, J.J. Lewis and Sarah Kruzich each scored three runs to lead the Mariners. Kruzich struck out 11 batters to give her a Whatcom County leading 54 on the season. Squalicum got singles from Gabi Gearhart and Laela Staniford, as well as a triple from Addy Hauber.

Lakewood 12, Ferndale 8

Golden Eagle senior catcher Kaelin Blakley scored on a passed ball in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game at 8-8, but the Cougars added two runs in each of the following two innings to defeat Ferndale. Maddy Slevin had two doubles, scored two runs and drove in three to lead the Golden Eagle offense. Hailey Pavitt added a pair of hits and also scored twice, while Sianna Bob drove in two, and Hannah Swan scored twice.

Anacortes 12, Meridian 7

The Seahawks flew out to a 4-0 lead after one inning, but the Trojans kept fighting back and even got within one run, 8-7, in the bottom of the fourth when Natalie Schultz scored on a single from Sydney TenKley. Catcher Lexi Neil led Meridian with three hits, while Chloe Heinrich and Josie Somera each drove in two runs.

Mount Vernon 9, Mount Baker 3

It took the Mountaineers until the fifth inning to get on the scoreboard, and by that time the Bulldogs had already pushed eight runs across. A double in the top of the fifth by Jaydn Hoffman scored Maddi Lewis and Alyssa DeRoco. That was followed up two batters later by a single off the bat of Kara Welters which scored Hoffman, but that ended up being the lone runs scored by the Mount Baker offense.
