The Blackhawks played their brand of basketball which included swarming defense and quick transition offense, and the result was their first district championship since 2008.
It was all Lummi Nation early on, as it led 44-12 at the half.
The hustle, shooting and overall athleticism of junior guard Ailina Rabang was nearly impossible for the visiting Lions to stop as she finished with 24 points to lead the Blackhawks.
Junior guard Brianna Metteba finished with 11 points, and sophomore guard Jemma James ended with nine points.
Freshman center Celestine James provided strength at the pivot as she came off the bench to score seven points.
