Schroeder

The lead changed hands after each of the first three quarters, but the Mariners were able to hold on for the win before the final buzzer on the road.

Sehome has now won its last three games in a row.

Kettman

Sophomore forward Kate Schroeder and freshman guard Taylor Turrell finished with 12 points each to lead the youthful Mariners in scoring.

Junior guard Keira Reeves went 6-for-6 from the foul line to finish third in Sehome’s scoring column.

Storm sophomore forward Addison Kettman came back after missing the prior game against Nooksack Valley and led Squalicum with eight points.

Parcher

It was all Lions as they roared out to a 42-9 lead at the half, and sophomore guard Finley Parcher already scored 24 points by the midway break.

She finished with 30 points on 14-of-18 shooting as the Lynden offense was sharp and the defense was stifling.

Lynden finished with 17 steals as a team, with sophomore Lexi Hermanutz, junior Rian Stephan and Parcher collecting three each.

Junior forward Payton Mills was dominant inside with 13 points and nine rebounds, and Hermanutz also dished out six assists.

Davis

The Pioneers started fast, 10-2 run, and ended faster, 15-2 run, as they forced 27 turnovers and picked up the road win.

Junior guard Chayleigh Davis finished with 14 points, eight assists and six steals to spearhead the Nooksack Valley attack.

Junior center Grace DeHoog posted her 13th double-double of the season with 11 points, 10 rebounds and five steals.

Senior forward Kate Shintaffer had 14 points, and junior guard Payton Bartl added 11 points. Both players also drained a pair of three-pointers.

Short

The Trojans finished the game with a 17-3 run, and finished the big home victory.

The Cubs were 39-28 with 4:30 left in the game, but a put-back by junior center Taya Benson started the run for Meridian.

That was when Melanie Short took over.

Electrifying drives to the hoop, coupled with pinpoint accuracy from behind the arc, fueled the freshman guard with multiple memorable moments in the final minutes of the game. She finished with a team-high 19 points.

Senior forward Sofia Brooks added eight points off the bench.
