The Lyncs could do little wrong on Tuesday night at home as they gave up just six points after the first quarter in the win.
22 steals and 10 three-pointers made were the two big catalysts of Lynden Christian’s big night.
Freshman guard Tyra Dykstra led the Lyncs with 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting, which included four three pointers. She also led the team with six steals.
Senior forward Allison Shumate finished with 17 points, and senior guard Danya Dykstra buried four of her seven 3-point attempts and had 14 points.
Junior guard Ella Fritts added 13 points, five assists and five steals.
The Mountaineers were led by sophomore Rebeca Soares who finished with six points, six rebounds and three steals.

The Seahawks raced out to a 10-point lead after the first quarter, and dominated after that to grab the home win.
Junior forward Aaliyah Bowman banked in a pair of runners in the first quarter, and sophomore guard Kate Koreski hit a foul shot in the second quarter to complete the scoring for the Borderites.
Blaine was kept off the scoreboard in the second half.
