Brooks

In soccer, Sofie Brooks is one of the best defenders in Whatcom County. Can you imagine how good she is when she’s playing a sport where she can use her hands? The Wildcats found out as the Trojan senior racked up eight steals as Meridian cruised to the home victory.

Freshman guard Melanie Short led the offense with 11 points, while also totaling five rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Sophomore guard Maddy Swanson added eight points, and hit two of her three 3-point attempts, and senior guard Brooklyn Fuller added six rebounds and four assists, both of which led her team.
