Brown

With 1:06 left in the game, and down by two, Mountaineer junior forward Reace Brown connected on both of her free throw attempts to tie the game at 36-36, but the Seahawks were able to convert on the other end and take the lead.

Mount Baker had one last chance, but the inbound pass was stolen away.

Sophomore center Rebeca Soares led the Mountaineers with 10 points, and was forced to sit more than half of the final period after fouling out.

Brown added nine points, while senior Faith Wilson and freshman Kalyn Abitia scored six points each.

J. James

The Blackhawks staved off a strong Viking comeback in the fourth quarter and held on for the home win.

Sophomore guard Jemma James drained a pair of buckets late to help secure the win, and she finished with 18 points and seven rebounds.

Junior guard Ailina Rabang added 14 points to go along with her team-high four steals, and junior guard Brianna Metteba had nine points and six rebounds.

Eshuis

The Storm kept it as a one-point game after the first quarter, but the Lyncs broke out for 26 points in the second quarter, and went on to outscore Squalicum 34-9 in the second half to stay unbeaten in conference play.

Thompson

It was who you’d expect as Lynden Christian senior Allison Shumate and junior Ella Fritts scoring 13 points each, but it was junior forward Sara VanLoo and sophomore forward Jocelyn Eshuis who each put up season-highs in points scored with VanLoo totaling 11 points, and Eshuis posting a team-high 14 points.

Storm sophomore Tiana Thompson led her team with nine points, and junior Jolie Paz added eight points.
