Parcher

Defense turned into offense extremely quickly as the Lion pressure totaled 12 steals in the first quarter which allowed Lynden to jump out to a 31-2 lead.

Sophomore guard Finley Parcher shot 11-of-16 from the field and finished with a team-high 26 points and seven rebounds.

Junior forward Payton Mills added 12 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals, and sophomore point guard Lexi Hermanutz led the defense with six steals.

Brown

The Mountaineers were already down nearly half of their team due to injury and illness, and were able to suit up just eight players. It went from eight to seven quickly when freshman guard Kalyn Abitia suffered an injury midway through the first quarter and was unable to return.

Junior forward Reace Brown led Mount Baker with eight points, and junior guard Izabel Johnson came up from the junior varsity to score six points.

Schroeder

The Mariners overcame a slow start on the road to come back and defeat the Cubs.

Sedro-Woolley was up double digits after the first quarter, but Sehome clawed back to tie it up after three quarters, and then scored 18 points in the fourth to secure the win.

Sophomore forward Kate Schroeder led the Mariners with 19 points on 8-of-15 shooting. She also totaled five assists, four rebounds and three blocks.

Freshman guard Taylor Turrell also did a little bit of everything as she posted 16 points, six rebounds, five steals and four assists.

The Mariner win snapped a four-game losing streak.

Shintaffer

The Seahawks held a six-point lead at the midway break, and were still up by one after three quarters, but Pioneer senior Kate Shintaffer scored eight of her team-high 18 points in the fourth quarter to help Nooksack Valley come back and secure the win at home.

The senior guard hit 8-of-13 from the floor and also picked up five rebounds and three steals.

Junior center Grace DeHoog finished with 15 points, 12 rebounds, five blocks and three steals, and junior guard Chayleigh Davis added 15 points, five steals and four assists.

It also appeared that the main focus was to get the ball inside, as the Pioneers attempted just three 3-pointers the entire game, the least amount they have attempted in a game all season.

Rabang

The Blackhawks led 15-0 after one quarter of play, and leading the charge was junior guard Ailina Rabang who scored 10 points in the opening period.

She finished with a game-high 23 points to continue her hot streak.

Sophomore point guard Jemma James added 13 points as Lummi Nation remained unbeaten in league play.
