After the game was tied 27-27 at halftime, the visiting Seahawks went on a 13-5 run in the third quarter, which ultimately was the difference in the game.
The Trojans were led by senior point guard Brooklyn Fuller, who scored 10 points, and hit on eight of her nine free throw attempts.
Senior forward Sofia Brooks added nine points, four rebounds and three steals, and freshman guard Melanie Short had eight points and five rebounds.
Sophomore forward Kaitlyn Storgaard led Meridian with six rebounds, and four blocked shots. The Trojans were also without starting forward Eden Bernardy, who was out with an illness.

The Pioneers battled throughout the game, but just came up short against the Tigers on the road.
Junior guard Chayleigh Davis led Nooksack Valley with 18 points.
Senior guard Kate Shintaffer added 14 points while hitting 4-of-8 from downtown, and also grabbing eight rebounds.
Junior center Grace DeHoog had nine points and 12 rebounds.

The Bulldogs outscored the Golden Eagles 22-5 in the fourth quarter which enabled the comfortable win for Mount Vernon at home.
Ferndale battled through foul trouble in the late going, and wasn’t able to recover.
Junior forward Jillea Fox led the Golden Eagles with 13 points, and she made six of her seven free throw attempts.
Sophomore guard Brooklyn Larrabee followed her up by scoring 11 points.
