MARYSVILLE – Red Raider senior Casey Carter scored four goals as Bellingham cruised to a 10-1 win over Marysville-Getchell in soccer on Thursday.
He also assisted on one, and Aaron Carter scored three goals (from 30 feet, 40 feet and 52 feet out). Waylon Uhrig scored a pair of goals, and Mathew Harley also scored.
“The team played very well together,” said Bellingham coach Matt Zigulis. “They kept possession and controlled the game. Marysville-Getchell was an amazing host and battled the entire game while keeping a positive attitude.”
Also picking up assists for the Red Raiders were Aaron Carter (2), Miles Henkel (2), Spencer Sumpter (2), Uhrig, Christian Ramos and Oliver Knickerhm.
Bellingham (1-0) will take on Sehome (1-1) on Saturday at Civic Field at 1:00.
