Blaine's Luke Ridnour has scored more points than any player in Whatcom County history.

So, I’ve been doing a lot of research lately, and calculating stats with Whatcom County boys basketball teams. It took me decades to total up ALL of the football stats from 1975-today, and the beauty of basketball is that I can find stats going back much farther than 1975!

Because the 1990’s was my favorite decade of local high school sports, here are the Top 50 career scorers in boys basketball in Whatcom County in the decade of the 90’s! Keep in mind, some top players played earlier years in the 80’s (Jon Kinloch, Derric Croft, Tom Ackerman & Jared Liebert, and Grant Dykstra played INTO the 2000-2001 season, so his senior year is not counted in this stat (but still amazingly made the top scorers list of the 90’s).

  2. It was my privilege and honor to be able to watch Luke Ridnour play for the price of an adult ticket (5.00) during his high school days. I would say to people, “Come watch this guy because soon you will have to pay big bucks to watch him hit 3’s!!!”
