Hello, everyone!
We are all dealing with this pandemic together, and I’ve been trying to find a project that I can work on from home that local athletes, parents and fans can enjoy. Now, I can only do so much, but I think I’ll be able to create a digital seven-game baseball series between two teams, involving only Whatcom County players.
I recently purchased the newest baseball game for the PlayStation 4, and I’m going to try to create 50 players from Whatcom County. Roughly 4-6 from each team. I’ll separate the players into two teams of 25 players each. One team will be the Interstate-5 Team (consisting of players from Blaine, Ferndale, Bellingham, Squalicum and Sehome). The other team will be the East County Team (consisting of players from Lynden, Lynden Christian, Meridian, Mount Baker and Nooksack Valley).
Because I was able to get head shots of all the players, I’m going to do my best to create them in the game, and then let the computer play the seven games series. I will then try to find a way to record it, and then broadcast it. If you’re forced to be home, and there isn’t sports to watch on TV, I’m hoping this can be a fun thing for you to watch.
Please give it some time, I have no idea how long this is going to take me….
