Senior running back Isaiah Carlson scored the first four touchdowns of the contest, and it was the third time in his career with at least four rushing touchdowns in a game.

Mid-way through the second quarter he was relieved at fullback by sophomore Talan Bungard who took his first carry of the game 66 yards for a touchdown, which included a few strong stiff-arms down the right sideline.

Sophomore halfback Zach Nielsen carried the ball just five times in the contest, with his fourth and fifth carry going for touchdowns. In between those, he returned a kickoff 64 yards.

Carlson finished with a game-high 138 yards rushing on 10 carries.

The Ferndale defensive line was dominant throughout, with 11 stops behind the line of scrimmage. Also, one pass was tipped at the line of scrimmage, and intercepted by senior defensive end Landen Hatchett.

The Golden Eagles (4-2) go on the road this Friday to take on Mount Vernon (0-6) at 7:00.
