FERNDALE – In their final home match of the season, the Golden Eagles looked strong in defeating Lakewood 25-11, 25-17 and 25-8 on Thursday night.
Ferndale had a balanced attack with every player getting in on the action. Senior Nicole Headrick had a team-high nine kills, and sophomore Kaelee Bungard had eight kills and 10 digs.
Senior Malia Honrud finished with a team-high 24 assists to go along with her four digs and three kills. Senior Bri Byrnes led her team with 19 digs.
The Golden Eagles (10-3) will finish out their conference schedule at Squalicum (7-6) on Tuesday.
