BELLINGHAM – There have been a lot of good performances so far this spring, with various schools and sports. But, the most overall dominant team has arguably been the Bellingham girls tennis team. The Red Raiders defeated Anacortes 7-0 on Tuesday as they pushed their season record to 6-0.
The teams of Amya Cook/Hannah Hodge, Morgan Gass/Maren Nielsen-Thompson, and Jewel Turner/Michelle Breeding won hard fought doubles matches and Louli Ziels, Emily Linton, Hope Macke and Hannah Reidel won their singles matches in straight sets.
“Everyone did a lot of good things today, but I thought Louli and Hope were really on top of their game” said Bellingham Coach Steve Chronister.
